Marlee Morris would like to wish you all the best for 2021.
It has been an interesting year for Marlee Morris. Covid 19 resulted in the cancellation of the National Folk Festival and Fairbridge Festival – both of which we were booked to perform at. We also had to cease practice but fortunately only for three months.
The good news is that despite all that we still danced out some eight times during the year.
January saw four of us in Napier for the NZ Morris Tour. For some photos see NZ Photos. Before the month was out we also performed at the Wanneroo Festival. Then it got a bit quiet.
July saw us dancing to celebrate a significant Birthday for our Foreman Tom.
August began with a performance for Core Cider and ended with a performance for Carmel Cider.
November saw us performing at the Festival of Light in South Fremantle – Photos and Videos. The following weekend we danced for “Little Folk” a Children’s Cancer Charity at Banksia Springs, Dwellingup.
In December we finished the year with a gathering at Pica Bar and did half an hours dancing before enjoying so drinks etc.
