Prospective dancers and/or musicians are invited to “Come and Try It” at the Seaward Guides Hall in Monash Avenue, Nedlands on Sunday 26th of June 2022.
Morning tea will be provided.

What could be better on a cold Winters morning than to do some dancing with a friendly group of dancers and musicians whilst at the same time keeping an old tradition alive. Marlee Morris are going to dance at the Mt Claremont Farmers’ Market on Saturday 11th of June from 9AM.

We (Marlee Morris) had a busy day on the 1st of May. We helped the Perth Morris Men “dance up the Sun” at Kings Park – see photos. After Breakfast, we went up to perform at Moondyne Festival. See photos.
Coming up in the next month we will be dancing at Mt Claremont Farmers Markets on the 11th of June and dancing at Cottesloe (between Barchetta and Blue Duck) on the 18th of June with the Fair Maids and others. For some photos of the last dance out with the Maids – see photos.
At this stage the Festival is still on and we are going to be dancing there.
We are dancing two brackets – one starting at 11:50 (Street East) and the second at 1:40 PM (Street West).

We have been invited by the Perth Morris Men to help them “Dance up the Sun” at dawn on the 1st of May at Kaarta Gar-up lookout in Kings Park. For a map see the link below.

Normal practice regime is first and third Wednesday evenings 7 to 9 PM and third and fourth Sunday mornings 9 to 12. The Sunday morning practices usually involve a morning tea break.
